Because there is no single feminine image, but rather an infinite number of personalities and aspirations, we have designed this edition of Lady by GMT with which all women (and perhaps men too) with a taste for watches and jewelry can identify. Active women, decision-makers, daring women, romantics, mothers and women in love – in short all those who refuse to have anyone dictate their choices. We wanted this issue to reflect our thousand and one facets. Through a wide range of trends, skills and techniques, we wished to salute the creativity of the watchmaking Maisons and honor the boldness of jewelry. This multi-faceted and magnificent inventiveness opens up vast fields of possibilities in terms of style. And it is great to have a choice, from the slightest to the most decisive questions.

In this issue, artfully mingling essential and anecdotal elements, we ponder the gender of watches – a question that keen watch lovers feel is entirely pointless, with more and more of them proclaiming their freedom to wear exactly what they like. We also invite you to explore the latest jewelry collections from the major Maisons that offer extraordinary transformable creations, adapt[1]able in a heartbeat to the outfit and the occasion. We also give a voice to those who – whether behind the scenes or in the spotlight – are making news in the realm of watches and jewelry. Not to mention a varied selection of new watch models, sometimes sparkling, often technical, or indeed both.
