Scafograf 300

WorldTempus is offering a unique edition of one of the icons of the deep: the Scafograf. Born in the 1950s, this collection has continued to grow over the years, conquering the hearts and minds of divers and explorers, incorporating models in steel with automatic movements and a water resistance of 100, 200, 300, 400, 750 and even 1000 metres! Contemporary in execution but bearing the hallmarks of vintage design, the new Scafograf 300 borrows all the signature features that cemented the success of its predecessors – robust 43 mm steel case, domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional rotating bezel in ceramic with luminous markings on the 15-minute counter and date at 3 o’clock, which are unique in a dive watch. The timepiece also includes a helium security valve at 9 o’clock to guarantee maximum reliability.

Expert opinion:

Brice Lechevalier is the founder of GMT, the watch magazine of reference in Switzerland, founder of the Geneva Watch Tour and director of Europe’s leading watch news website, WorldTempus. Twelve major watchmakers have entrusted him with the task of designing a unique commemorative piece to mark the 16th anniversary of WorldTempus.

The Scafograph 300 by Eberhard not only represents superb value for money; this distinctive automatic diving watch also won the 2016 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in the Petite Aiguille / Sports Watch category. The playful yellow number 16 on the dial at 4 o’clock (representing the 16th anniversary of our website WorldTempus) makes this a particularly interesting unique piece
